The AluK 58BD HI aluminium door system offers an excellent balance of thermal performance, security and design flexibility, making it a popular choice for both residential and light commercial applications. With advanced thermal break technology, the system can achieve impressive U-values as low as 1.3 W/m²K with double glazing and 1.1 W/m²K with triple glazing, helping to meet modern energy-efficiency requirements. Designed with security in mind, the system can be specified to PAS 24 and Secured by Design standards, incorporating multi-point locking, secure hinges and anti-lift features for enhanced protection.
The 58BD HI also offers excellent practicality, with low threshold options for improved accessibility, glazing options from 24mm to 40mm, and configurations including single or double doors with open-in or open-out operation. A wide range of RAL colours, dual-colour options, textured powder-coated and anodised finishes allows the system to be tailored to suit both contemporary and traditional projects.
